Air Fryer Biscoff & Banana Swirls

These simple pastry swirls are incredibly moreish, they don't last long in our house! Most shop-bought puff pastry is dairy free but always check ingredients. For younger children, swap the Biscoff spread for nut butter for a low sugar alternative.

Dairy / egg* / soya* / nut free

Makes around 16 swirls (double up recipe if you want to use the whole pastry sheet)

Keep covered in the fridge for 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months and reheat in oven or air fryer until crispy.

INGREDIENTS

- 1/2 sheet of puff pastry (I used Jus Rol)

- 4 tbsp Biscoff spread (or the Aldi alternative is also soya free)

- 1/2 ripe banana

- Beaten egg* or plant-based milk for glazing

METHOD

1. Take the puff pastry out of the fridge for around 10 minutes

2. Meanwhile mash the banana until smooth

3. Lay the pastry flat and spread a layer of Biscoff spread all over the edges then top with the mashed banana

4. Roll up tightly along the longest edge, the tighter the better then wipe off any excess banana

5. Set your air fryer to 190c for 14 minutes

6. Cut into inch wide pieces then brush all over with the beaten egg or milk. Add to the lined air fryer with plenty of space around each one

7. Cook, turning once halfway. Cool and enjoy!
